PURPOSE: To provide a contact pin of comparatively low cost which is excellent in contact stability with terminals of an IC and in electric characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A contact pin 16 is provided with a base part 27 fixed on a socket for an electric component, a plurality of terminal retaining parts 17 which protrude from the base part 27 so as to correspond to a plurality of terminal 28 of an IC 13 and retain the terminal 28 flexibly, and a plurality of connecting leg parts 31 which protrude from the base part 27 to the opposite direction of the terminal retaining parts 17 and are engaged with an external electric test circuit. In the contact pin 16, the terminal retaining parts 17, the base part 27 and the connecting leg parts 31 are collectively formed in an unified body by using a plate type flexible member. An insulating resin layer is formed on the surface of the flexible member, and a wiring pattern 34 which is composed of conductive material and stretched from tips of the terminal retaining parts 17 to tips of the connecting leg parts 31 is formed on the insulating resin layer.
