PURPOSE: To provide a transcribing device which is easy to be transported and has high stability when it is set, and of which the direction of a writing face can be changed easily. CONSTITUTION: The main body 1a of a winding-and-feed type transcribing device, having a sheet-like coated board 4 to be fed by a pair of wind-up shafts 3a, 3b, is provided in a frame body 2 having a rectangular shape when viewed from the front thereof, whose width in its forward/backward direction is small. A rotary body 8 rotatable horizontally relative to a bottom face 7 of the frame body is provided on one end side positioned in the lateral direction of the bottom face 7 of the frame body 2. This rotary body 8 is formed out of an elongated member longer than the width in the forward/backward direction of the frame body, and first casters 9 are provided on one end side in the longitudinal direction of the rotary body 8 while a height holding body 10 is provided on the other end side in the longitudinal direction thereof. Second casters 11 are provided on the other end side positioned in the lateral direction of the bottom face 7 of the frame body.
