A distribution circuit for distributing a number of audio signals to any number of channels. To localize the audio image of each audio signal arbitrarily, a first signal processing circuit processes the audio signals from the distribution circuit in parallel and reproduces them with a plurality of speakers. A second signal processing circuit receives the audio signals to be delivered to the speakers, and carries out signal processing equivalent to a transfer function from each speaker to listener's ears. The output signal from the second signal processing circuit is reproduced with the headphone.
