PURPOSE: A decorative sheet is provided to dispense with coloration or gloss adjustment at the time of adhesion and to protect a surface by providing a gloss adjusting layer on the surface of a transparent or translucent plastic sheet of which the whole or rear surface is colored by using a paint compounded with a silicone resin and providing a hot-melt adhesive layer to the rear surface thereof to bond the plastic sheet to veneer. CONSTITUTION: A gloss adjusting layer is provided on the surface of a transparent or translucent plastic sheet with a thickness of 20-70 micrometer of which the whole or rear surface is colored by using a paint compounded with 5-20 wt.% of a silicone resin and a hot-melt adhesive layer is provided to the rear surface thereof to form a decorative sheet which is, in turn, bonded to the surface of veneer by the adhesive layer. The whole of the plastic sheet is colored by compounding a colorant with a molding resin when the plastic sheet is molded. When the rear surface of the plastic sheet is colored, a colorant is applied to the plastic sheet by a roll coater. In this case, corona discharge treatment is applied to the plastic sheet before coating to strongly bond the colorant.
