PURPOSE: A powered microcapsule is provided to develop an excellent dispersibility. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing a microcapsule includes a first process for dispersing a hydrophobia substance in an aqueous solution containing an anionic water soluble polymeric substance, a second process for preparing a slurry containing microcapsules prepared by compounding an aminoaldehyde resin with the aqueous solution to form a resin film on the surface of the hydrophobia substance, and a third process for performing a process for treating the surfaces of microcapsules recovered by removing the aqueous solution from the slurry with a surfactant or a process for removing the aqueous solution from the slurry so that the content of the anionic water soluble polymeric substance with respect to the powdered microcapsules becomes 0.01 wt.% or less.
