The invention relates to a method and a soldering foil for producing a metallic honeycomb element (1) which is rolled, stratified or looped and consists of at least partially structured layers of sheet metal (2, 3). At least one face (4) of the honeycomb element (1) composed of sheet metal layers (2, 3) is brought into contact with a gas permeable soldering foil (6). The honeycomb element (1) is then subjected to soldering by means of the soldering foil (6) in order to join the layers of metal sheeting (2, 3). |
