摘要 PURPOSE: A bimetal spring material for color cathode-ray tubes is provided whose structure is changed according to the shape of a shadow mask to improve mis-landing phenomenon of electron beams due to thermal expansion of the shadow mask when the cathode-ray tube operates. CONSTITUTION: STS 304H stainless steel plate is arranged on STS 430H stainless steel plate and the contact surfaces of the two plates are made into one using a continuous electron beam welding method. The STS 430H stainless steel plate contains C of below 0.12 weight%, Si of below 0.75 weight%, Mn of 1.0 weight% or less, P of below 0.04 weight%, S of below 0.03 weight%, Ni of below 0.6 weight%, Cr of 16-18 weight% or less, and remainder of Fe. The STS 304H stainless steel plate contains C or below 0.12 weight%, Si of below 1.0 weight%, Mn of 2.0 weight% or less, P of below 0.03 weight%, S of below 0.03 weight%, Ni of below 8.0-10.5 weight%, Cr of 17-19 weight% or less, and remainder of Fe.
