PURPOSE: To provide a paper sheets processor and a paper money receiving/ dispensing machine, with which the feed trouble of paper sheets can be canceled accurately by stably integrating received paper sheets in a guide member for reception guide, by providing this guide member for naturally aligning and storing received paper sheets and a reception structure can be simplified by providing a linking mechanism. CONSTITUTION: This paper sheets processor provided with a feeding means for feeding paper sheets from a receiving port into the device one by one and processing them, on the basis of the rotational driving force of a pickup roller facing the receiving port for receiving paper sheets, is provided with the guide member for paper sheet reception guide protruded farther than the protruding quantity of a pickup roller 26 which faces the receiving port and installed together with the pickup roller 26 and by providing a movable means for protruding this guide member at the time of receiving paper sheets and for causing it to move backward, at feeding out of paper sheets, switching of this receiving port into reception guide state and feeding state can be allowed.
