PURPOSE: To make variance of a capacitance value of additional capacitance small and to be excellent in display quality with respect to the liquid crystal display device. CONSTITUTION: The additional capacitance 10 of the device is formed by a first conductive layer 12 formed on an insulation substrate 11, a first insulation layer 13 formed on the first conductive layer 12 and provided with an opening part 14 which exposes a part of the first conductive layer 12, a second conductive layer 17a formed on the first conductive layer 12 placed at least in the opening part 14, a second insulation layer 18 covering the second conductive layer 17a and a third conductive layer 19a covering the second insulation layer 18 placed at least in the opening part 14.
