The invention relates to a car radio, which has a removable control panel (2) for anti-theft protection. In order to encourage the removal of the control panel (2) thereby enhancing anti-theft protection, said control panel (2) is fitted with a display (4), a microprocessor and electronic memories and can be linked to a receiver and control part (10, 12, 13, 14) through a data interface (11). Once removed, the control panel (2) can preferably function as a personal digital assistant (PDA). |
