HUE SHIFT ADJUSTING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR BIDIRECTIONAL INK JET PRINTER

PURPOSE: Provided is a color printing method minimizing the shift of a hue in a bidirectional color ink jet printer. CONSTITUTION: A single pass printer(130) for applying printing to a printing medium in a first direction and the second direction opposite thereto has a printing mode having first and second color maps and bonding a band of first ink liquid droplets on the printing medium while using the first color map in the first direction and bonding a band of second ink liquid droplets on the printing medium adjacent to the band of the first ink liquid droplets in the second direction while using the second color map. A single path ink jet printing system being the alternate combination of the first and second bands of a substantially non-overlapping system is obtained.
