PURPOSE: A sterilizer is provided to easily and efficiently wash and sterilize even the medical instrument of complicated shape and structure. CONSTITUTION: The sterilizer is constituted of a case(1) provided with an internal space(1a) capable of housing a material to be sterilization-processed and water, a heater(2) for heating the material to be sterilization-processed inside the case(1) together with the water and an ultrasonic wave generator(3) for making ultrasonic waves act on the material to be sterilization-processed under the presence of the water inside the case(1). The sterilizer can be provided with a water supply unit for supplying the water into the case. The water inside the case can be heated in relation to water supply by the water supply means by the heater(2) and the ultrasonic waves can be made to act on the material to be sterilization-processed under the presence of the water or the water heated by the heater(2) in relation to the water supply or heating by the ultrasonic wave generator(3). |
