PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to restrain the fatigue degradation of a photoelectric transfer element in the light-charged type secondary battery composed by combining a flexible photoelectric transfer sheet having the photoelectric transfer element formed with a storage battery. CONSTITUTION: This light-charged type secondary battery(1) is provided with a flexible photoelectric transfer sheet(3) comprising a photoelectric transfer element rolled around a cylindrical rolling core part(2) in an extractible manner, a storage battery(4) and a control circuit part(5) for controlling its charge and discharge, and takes a nearly cylindrical shape as a whole in the rolled form. In this case, the secondary battery is so composed as to position the light receiving surface of the photoelectric transfer sheet(3) (the light receiving surface of the photoelectric transfer element) on the outside surface side with the sheet(3) rolled. Thereby, the fatigue degradation of the photoelectric transfer element during repetitive expansion is restrained. For the secondary battery, it is desirable that a high-polymer film is stacked on the light receiving surface of the sheet(3), so that the durability of the photoelectric transfer element against repetitive bending and sliding. |
