PURPOSE: To provide a dehydrating separating membrane module for water- organic vapor by using a small sized gas separating membrane module of a comparatively small membrane area. CONSTITUTION: A hollow fiber bundle 6 wherein both ends of many hollow fiber separating membrane having gas separating performance are fixed by a resin-made pipe plate as its open mouth state is held as it is, is contained in a cylindrical container 5 having a mixed gas introducing opening 1, a carrier gas introducing opening 2, a permeated gas outlet 3, and an unpermeated gas outlet 4. A gas separating membrane module is constituted so that the mixed gas introducing opening 1 and the unpermeated gas outlet 4 are led to the inside of a hollow fiber, and the carrier gas introducing opening and the permeated gas outlet are led to the outside of the hollow fiber. Further in the gas separating membrane module constituted so that a flow of the carrier gas and a flow of the mixed gas become countercurrents with a hollow fiber membrane therebetween, efficient dehydration can be realized by using the gas separating membrane module wherein an outer peripheral part of the hollow fiber bundle 6 is coated with filmlike matter.
