PURPOSE: Provided are compositions and a method for controlling cockroaches. CONSTITUTION: Cockroach controlling compositions comprise 1-methyl-2-nitro-3- £(3-tetrahydrofuryl)methyl|guanidine and 3,4,5,6-tetrahydrophthalimidomethyl chrysanthemate. Also, a method for controlling cockroaches is provided.
