PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary scaffold being strong to a horizontal load and having large safety by fastening a long size horizontal beam material between a pair of inside upright posts, and fastening swing preventive materials over overhang parts and outside upright posts formed on its both outsides. SOLUTION: A pair of inside upright posts 3 and a pair of outside upright posts 4 are parallelly and vertically erected at a prescribed interval to a wall surface 2 along the wall surface 2 of a building, and cloths 6, 6 are installed between both upright posts 3, 4. Next, wall connecting materials 12, 12 threadedly engaged with anchor materials 14, 14 having end parts driven in the wall surface 2 are fastened to the inside upright posts 3. A long size horizontal beam material 7 is fastened between the inside upright posts 3 of this temporary scaffold 1 so that overhang parts 9, 9 are formed on both sides. Swing preventive materials 10, 10 having one end part abutting to the wall surface via pivot jacks 11, 11 are fastened to the overhang parts 9 and the outside upright posts 4 to thereby obtain the temporary scaffold being strong to a load from the horizontal direction and having large safety with a simple structure.
