PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhaust a lot of high-pressure gas while sufficiently reducing noise, and to prevent degradation of noise absorbing performance and a break when the high-pressure gas spouts. SOLUTION: This silencer has a tube-like high-pressure gas spout body 1 sealed at one end, having fine holes 1a spouting high-pressure gas on the peripheral face, and a tube-like outer tube silencing body 4 having a noise absorption wall 21 disposed in parallel to the peripheral face of the high-pressure gas spout body 1, opened such that one end of the noise absorption wall 21 exhausts the high-pressure gas outside. The outer tube silencing body 4 houses a noise absorption member 16 absorbing noise, and has plural noise absorption chambers 33 allowing the noise to reach the noise absorption member 16 through hole parts 18a. The noise absorption chambers 33 are distributed in the exhaust direction of the high-pressure gas such that a pressure difference in each noise absorption chamber 33 is below a prescribed value not allowing deformation of the noise absorption member 16 by the high-pressure gas flowing in through the hole part 18a.
