ELASTIC WOVEN OR KNITTED FABRIC EXCELLENT IN FLAME RETARDANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an elastic woven or knitted fabric excellent in flame retardance and useful as a comfortable cushioning material by weaving or knitting a polyester polyether-based elastic yarn and polyester-based fiber in which phosphorus compounds are each copolymerized. SOLUTION: Weaving or knitting is carried out by using a monofilament type polyester polyether-based elastic yarn having >=200 d single fineness, <=150% breaking elongation and >=0.3 g/d stress in 10% elongation and a polyester-based fiber in which a phosphorus compound having ester group- forming ability is each copolymerized to provide the objective elastic woven or knitted fabric having >=25 kg/5 cm width breaking elongation in warp direction and weft direction and <=500 g/m2 weight.
