The present invention relates to a hypomethylating agent-resistant cell line and a use thereof. More specifically, provided are a cell line (Accession No. KCTC18351P) resistant to a hypomethylating agent, a method for screening drugs for treating cancer showing resistance to the hypomethylating agent, and a method for determining resistance to the hypomethylating agent. According to the present invention, the cell line (Accession No. KCTC18351P) resistant to the hypomethylating agent can be used in a study on a mechanism associated with hypomethylating agent-resistance, and can also be useful for screening a novel anti-cancer agent for treating cancer showing resistance to the hypomethylating agent. Furthermore, n order to treat cancer, the cell line can bring a great achievement on cancer therapy by determining, prior to the onset of treatment, the existence of resistance to the hypomethylating agent acting as anti-cancer drugs, in each individual suffering from cancer. |
