PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce heat transfer through a displacer at an expander of a Stirling refrigerator.SOLUTION: The Stirling refrigerator comprises: a displacer 22 including a displacer base part 50 installed on a central axis and a displacer extremity end 52 extending along the central axis from the displacer base part 50 to a working gas expansion space 28; and a regenerator 38 arranged around the displacer extremity end 52 to guide a reciprocating motion of the displacer 22 in a direction of the central axis. The displacer extremity end 52 has a plurality of plate-like components arranged in a direction of the central axis each of which has a component side surface defining a part of an outer surface of the displacer extremity end 52. The plurality of plate-like component elements form a working gas layer 62 between the adjoining two plate-like components and/or are formed of resin material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
