SOLUTION: A fundamental note and a kind of a chord as a base of an accompaniment pattern to be created, a tone color, the highest pitch, the lowest pitch, etc., are stored in set table memory 8 as a set beforehand. The accompaniment pattern created by an external automatic operation performance device B is inputted in an MIDI signal and a chord is detected by a keyboard 4. A keycode of the accompaniment pattern is converted in the pitch based on the shift data read from note conversion table memory and the fundamental note of the detected chord.
