<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts and facilitate installation of an air conditioner by placing an air conditioner body in a rectangular ceiling opening made in a ceiling having joists, placing a support plate on a plurality of suspension hooks of the air conditioner body and fixing both ends of the supporting plate to the cradlings with the use of fixing means. SOLUTION: When an air conditioner body 1 is attached to a factory building unit, an first a support plate 8 is placed on a plurality of suspension hooks 5 of the air conditioner body 1, bolt through holes 6 of the suspension hooks 5 are superposed on the nuts 13 of the support plate 8, through which holes 6 hexagonal nead bolts 9 are inserted from below to fix the suspension hooks 5 to the support plate 8. Then the air conditioner body 1 is brought to face between the cradlings 7 and 7 in the vicinity of a ceiling opening 3 and the lower ends of the joist fixing portions 11 of the support plate 8 are temporarily positioned at the rear surface of a ceiling 2. The air conditioner body 1 is brought to a predetermined position also with respect to the longitudinal direction thereof, thereafter screws 15 are screwed into the side surfaces of the cradlings 7 through the fixing holes 14 of the joist fixing portions 1 to fixedly mount the air conditioner body 1 onto the ceiling 2.</p> |
