<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embody a wide compass of a large Oriental fiddle and to improve sound volume and sound quality. SOLUTION: An overall length A, the length L and thickness W of a neck 13 and the sizes M and N and depth T of the body 12 are made larger by one size than those of a three-string large Oriental fiddle. This Oriental fiddle is provided with four strings 17 to 20 varying in the intervals by adding the bass string thereto. For example, the strings are tuned in order of D-A-D-G. The first string 17 is composed of an aluminum gut string, the second and third strings 18 and 19 are composed of gut strings and the fourth string 20 is composed of silk yarn. A bridge 22 is formed for the four strings and increases the tension of the respective strings 17 to 20 and maximizes the tension of skin 12b as well.
