PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which is a high capacity, can restrain generation of a dendrite and has an excellent cycle characteristic. SOLUTION: In a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which has at least a positive electrode 1, a negative electrode 2 and a nonaqueous electrolyte 4, a lithium/aluminum oxide shown a composition formula LixAlyO (where, 0<=x<=4, 0.7<=y<=2) is used as at least one of a negative electrode active material. It is desirable to use a graphite material whose spacing (d002) is not more than 3.34 nm as a conductive assistant, when the lithium/aluminum oxide shown by the composition formula LixAlyO (where, 0<=x<=4, 0.7<=y<=2) is used as the negative electrode active material. |
