<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid characteristic sensor that can properly measure the characteristics of a liquid or fluid object to be measured, and a sensor device using the sensor. SOLUTION: A liquid characteristic sensor 11 is equipped with an emission window 131, a light reception window 132 that specifies space being provided at a position opposite to the emission window 131 for allowing an object to be measured to exist at a part to the emission window 131, an infrared-ray light source 141 that applies infrared rays to the object to be measured through the emission window 131, an infrared detector 151 that detects light being transmitted through the object to be measured and the light reception window 132, and gap change means 161:162, 113:123, and 114:124 that uses a piezoelectric element for changing the gap between the emission window 131 and the light reception window 132. A control/signal processing means 12 changes the gap between the emission window 131 and the reception window 132 by driving the gap change means, reads the detection value of the infrared detector 151 in the changed gap, and calculates the characteristics of the object to be measured.</p> |
