<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector wherein a terminal part abuts on a connector pin when a PCB is completely mounted to the connector. SOLUTION: This connector is used for mounting a printed circuit board having terminal parts on its card edge, and provided with connector pins 6 coming into an electrical connection state by being abutted on the terminal parts 2 when the printed circuit board (PCB 1) is mounted, and a non-conductive cover 4 having slits 5 each interlaid between the terminal part 2 and the connector pin 6 and having a size capable of jumping out the connector pin 6. The connector pin 6 can be popped out from the slit or covered by the vertical movement of the cover 4. The connector has springs 7 for energizing the cover 4 so as to return it to a normal position when the PCB 1 is not mounted, and is provided with a mounting detection means.</p> |
