PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a set-up method of a knitted fabric which can fix an unused yarn edge of a set-up part on the set-up part.SOLUTION: Before a set-up part 3 is knitted, yarn-in operation for a knitting yarn different from that of a draw yarn stitch row 1B is carried out to knit a stitch row 2 for preventing raveling, and a stitch 20 in at least part of the stitch row 2 for preventing raveling is brought into the state of being retained on another needle bed FU. Then, the knitting of the set-up part 3 is started from a position deviated from a start end stitch 2s of the stitch row 2 for preventing raveling. After the completion of the set-up part 3, the stitch 20 retained on the other needle bed FU of the stitch row 2 for preventing raveling and a stitch in part of the set-up part 3 are superposed, and then tubular knitting is carried out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
