PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial connector provided with high detechability and waterproof by changing the only one part of the structure of a bayonet lock type coaxial connector at the only plug side thereof. SOLUTION: In a coaxial connector formed by connecting a plug 10 and a receptacle 20 to each other with the bayonet lock structure and electrically connecting each center contact 13, 23 to each other, a gasket 14 is fitted to the periphery of a shell 11 of the plug 10, and an O-ring 15 is installed in a recessed groove 11f, and in the case of connecting the plug 10 and the receptacle 20 to each other, the gasket 14 is pushed by a tip of a shell 21 of the receptacle 20 for seal in the axial direction, and the O-ring 15 is pushed by a lower surface of the shell 21 for seal in the radial direction, and the high waterproof performance can be thereby obtained.
