PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a memory capacity, and to inform a driver of trafic regulation information in an advancing direction of a position displayed on an image plane. SOLUTION: Trafic regulation information within a fixed distance from the present position of a vehicle is gained (S5). Since 'the fixed distance' is selected optionally, the trafic regulation information is gained exceeding a range of a road map displayed on the image plane at the present time. A reduction scale of the map is changed to be displayed when the trafic regulation information exceeding the range of the road map displayed on the image plane at the present time is required to be displayed (S8).
