PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a focus on an arbitrary object according to the necessity without executing the complicated operation such as the half-pressing of a shutter release button or the like. SOLUTION: In this camera, a length to an object measured by a central range finding circuit 101 is operated by an objective lens feed control circuit 105 by the rotating operation in one direction of a focus adjustment switch 105, and stores a result of the operation in a storing circuit 105a as the range finding data. The photographing is executed on the basis of the stored value. The camera dispenses with the half-pressing work which is complicated and needs the skill, and the photographing can be executed without fail even when a cameraman takes a photograph while considering the composition of a photographing image plane in a state that an arbitrary object is focused. |
