PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hot water supply equipment with a remote control which is contrived for protection of privacy, miniaturization of appliances and, besides, improvement of the durability of the equipment. SOLUTION: This hot water supply equipment with a remote control comprises a water heater having a burner and a heat exchanger, an image pickup device provided in a bathroom and the remote control which controls remotely the water heater and also displays a bathroom monitoring image obtained by the image pickup device, and a modified display means for displaying the bathroom monitoring image not as a direct image, but as an indirect, modified image by shadowing, shading-off, gradation variation, mosaicking, designing, etc.
