PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly realize measurement of a speech time or the acceptance of reservation and the management of a working time or the like when a standard time is switched to a summer time or vice versa. SOLUTION: This telephone device is provided with a timer 25 for clocking a time independently of a summer time system, a use start detecting means (control part 24) for detecting the start of use of a telephone device 10 from the outside part, a use end detecting means (control part 24) for detecting the end of use of the telephone device 16 from the outside part, and a storage means (memory 28) for storing and holding a clocking time by the timer 25 when the start of use is detected and a clocking time by the timer 25 when the end of use is detected.
