PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the assembling work to reduce the working cost or assembling cost by catching a claw part as an engagement part on the inside of an end cap in a nut-side end cap mounting groove. SOLUTION: This end cap type ball screw device is formed of a ball circulating member 20 having claw parts 24 as engagement part and a nut body 22 having a groove part 34. The claw parts 24 are provided on the outside surface 30a of a ring part 30 so as to be horizontally and vertically symmetric to the central axis 20a of the ball circulating member 20 by twos, respectively. A first disc parts 26 having a radius 26r smaller than the radius 22r of the nut body 22 and a second disc part 27 having a radius 27r larger than the radius 26r of the first disc part 26 are provided on both central axial 22a ends of the cylindrical nut body 22. The central axes of the first disc part 26 and the second disc part 27 are the same as the central axis 22a of the nut body 22, and the groove part 34 is formed by the difference in radius of these parts.
