PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing unit that enables such removal work of its bearing as saves labor and time, prevents damage to shafts and poses no danger and sanitary problems. SOLUTION: The housing of a bearing unit 1 has bolt holes 7 tapped in a flange portion 5. Screwing a bolt 24 with a wrench 22 after it is meshed with the internal thread of one bolt hole 7 applies pressure to the flange portion 5 in a direction of an axis O1 to thus dislodge a bearing 2 from the axis O1.
