The present invention provides a technique which restrains a rotary member fixed on an arm by swelling from rattling with respect to a support member which rotatably supports the rotary member. A liquid level detection comprises a float, an arm, a sensor, a support member, and a rotary member. The float is mounted on the arm. The arm converts a vertical motion of the float into a rotary motion. The rotary member is fixed on the arm. The sensor detects a rotary motion of the arm. The support member is made of a resin material having a swelling ratio different from the rotary member with respect to fuel, and rotatably supports the rotary member with respect to the sensor. As the support member becomes swelled by the fuel, a clearance (CL1) between an outer circumferential portion (38) of the rotary member and a guide rail (40) of the support member is enlarged, and a clearance (CL2) between an inner circumferential portion (37) of the rotary member and the guide rail (40) is reduced. |
