PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform backup acquisition/recovery processes by individual pieces of information and to guarantee a recovery from guarantee information on an auxiliary storage medium as a system by specifically processing a recovery by the latest information of backup information on a secondary storage medium and a recovery from the guarantee information on an auxiliary storage medium according to characteristics of respective pieces of service characteristics information. SOLUTION: Service characteristics information consisting of a service logic program 7 and service data 9 in a main memory 21 is backed up on the secondary storage medium 23 by a flexible system which is selected according to the characteristics of individual pieces of service characteristics information. A system program 3 and system data 5 in the main memory 21 are backed up on the secondary storage medium 23 autonomously by the system. Individual pieces 3, 5, 7, and 9 of service characteristics information backed up on the secondary storage medium 23 are backed up periodically as guarantee information on the auxiliary storage medium 25 autonomously by the system and a recovery from the guarantee information on the auxiliary storage medium 25 is made. |
