PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely assort whether or not image formed recording paper is proper for recycling by calculating the toner adhesive rate of every recording paper and displaying information on the calculated toner adhesive rate on the recording paper. SOLUTION: Image data processed by an image processing means 42 and image data from a print controller 44 are processed in an adhesive rate calculation means 46, and the toner adhesive rate expressing the rate of toner adhesive area to the area of the recording paper is calculated. The toner adhesive area per pixel corresponds to the density value of the image data. Therefore, the adhesive rate is obtained by summing up the image data recorded on one page of recording paper in terms of the density value of the image data. The toner adhesive rate calculated by the means 46 is displayed with the image by an image forming means 12 by recording a mark in a margin on the recording paper. For example, the impropriety of recycling is displayed on the recording paper having the toner adhesive rate equal to or above a specified threshold. |
