PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly reduce sounds of a refrigerant flow by passing a gas-liquid two-phase refrigerant through a throttling part. SOLUTION: The whole of a main valve body 10 of a second flow control device is formed from a porous permeable material 12 made of a sintered metal wherein an average diameter of air holes is 40μm. A groove 13 provided in the valve body 10 has a cross-sectional area larger than that of a pipe 8 connected to a second flow control valve and a first indoor exchanger, and that of a pipe connected to a second indoor exchanger. By actuating a stepping motor, these pipes are connected through a porous body 12 of the body 10. In a cooling operation, vapor refrigerant of high temperature and pressure leaving a compressor in operation passes through a four-way valve and is condensed into liquid and depressurized to a low pressure two-phase refrigerant at a first flow control device, and the refrigerant being low-pressure two-phase refrigerant flows into a first indoor exchanger and is vaporized and passed through a second flow control device, without causing a large pressure losses. Thus, sounds of refrigerant flow generated when the gas-liquid two-phase refrigerant passes can be greatly reduced.
