PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high-precision colorimetry by correcting the result of measurement according to the angle of inclination of a measuring apparatus body with a sample surface. SOLUTION: A measurement control means 61 is electrically connected to light emitting circuits 12, 22, 32, 42, and controls emission of light sources 11, 21, 31, 41. An arithmetic and processing means 62 finds measured reflection characteristic values of a sample to be measured 5 corresponding to each lighting means 10-40 using spectral data from a spectral means 52. Besides, undetermined coefficients of a Gaussian function stored in a memory part 63 are determined using the measured reflection characteristic values, and an error produced by the angle of inclination of the normal line of the sample surface 5a of the sample 5 to be measured as against the center axis 2n of a measuring apparatus body is corrected using this Gaussian function, and the corrected reflection characteristic value is found.
