ELECTRICAL/OPTICAL COMPOSITE CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring handling household LAN in the near future and high speed in the future, and not requiring a wiring replacement in the event of the prevalence of applications compliant to IEEE1394. SOLUTION: This cable is constituted by assembling a pair of twisted pair cables 4 constituted by twisting two pairs of insulated conductors 3 with twisting pitches different each other, and two plastic optical fibers 6. The twisted pair cables 4 and the optical fibers 6 are placed adjacent each other. The entire twisted pair cables and optical fibers are twisted such that the twisted pair cables are not in contact with each other.
