PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information-recording/reproducing apparatus, which can control minute intervals between a head part and a recording medium, even without making the head part compact and light-weight necessary. SOLUTION: The information-recording/reproducing apparatus comprises an outer frame 1, constituting an apparatus body, a base 5, an optical pickup 10 and a recording medium 15. The optical pickup 10 is mounted to a groove part 7 of the base 5 with a distance to the recording medium 15 which is fixed and movable in the tracking direction. The recording medium 15 is set detachably to a rotary shaft 20 and can rotate with the rotary shaft 20. When rotating, the recording medium flats by an air flow generated to a surface of the base 5, so that a prescribed minute distance to the optical pickup 10 is maintained.
