PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain money of multiple times at a time in a single payment transaction. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a means which displays transaction information enabling payment amounts in the same payment transaction to be divided into multiple groups and inputted multiple times on the screen of a customer operation part 6 when the payment transaction is selected by operating the customer operation part 6, a means which stores information including the inputted payment amount, the number of payment groups, and the numbers of paper money of the respective groups, and a means which judges from the stored information whether or not the total amount of payment, the total number of paper money, and the numbers of paper money by the money kinds exceed the payment limit amounts of this device, makes a display indicating that the operation should be redone from the starting money input when the limit amounts are exceeded, and displays the information including the payment amount, the number of groups of payment, and total amount inputted so far on the screen when the limit amounts are not exceeded and prompts the customer to confirm them. Thus, the amount input of multiple times in the same payment transaction is made possible.
