PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rapid and smooth gear shift without using a high speed transmission and a control device when, with a rotation synchronizing point positioned therebetween, a rapid gear shift is executed. SOLUTION: When a gear shift is executed from a present unit gear ratio IVTRATIO toward a reach target unit gear ratio DIVTRATIO in a state to effect a gear shift over a rotation synchronizing point RSP, in a case of the speed VSTP of a step motor exceeding a upper limit value Vmax, shifting is executed with a power circulation mode clutch and a direct coupling clutch brought into a half clutch state. |
