PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and an apparatus in which the fluidity of a fluid can be discriminated with good accuracy, without being influenced by the surrounding environment by a method, wherein a plurality of measuring points are set on the surface of a container, the surface temperature of the container is measured by a non-contact type temperature sensor and the measured value is computed so as to be controlled and processed. SOLUTION: There is no concern for a non-contact type temperature sensor that it wears away, becomes aged or the like, and it can measure the temperature of a fluid C put in a container, while the fluid C is being conveyed at a high speed. When the fluidity of the fluid C put into the container is discriminated, the surface temperature of the container in a first measuring point C1 set on the side face of the fluid C put into the container is first detected by a non-contact type temperature sensor 2 on one side, and its result is input to a computing and control device 6 via a preamplifier 4. At the same time, the surface temperature in a second measuring part C2 on the side face of the container is detected by a non-contact type temperature sensor 3, and its result is input to the computing and control device 6 via preamplifier 5. At this time, the difference in the surface temperature between the two measuring points C1, C2 is calculated, and the calculated difference in the temperature is compared with a reference value which is stored and set in advance. When the fluidity is not in the desired state, a defective discriminating signal is output by a defective discrimination signal output means. |
