<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve on-vehicle property by preventing loss of driving force, decrease of fuel efficiency, heat generation, and wear, improving durability, reducing loss of magnetic force, and attaining compactness. SOLUTION: This device is provided with torque transmission members 7, 9, a main clutch 13 placed therebetween, a pilot clutch 21, a cam 17 placed in series with the clutch 21 between the torque transmission member 7 and a static side member 39 so as to be operated to connect the clutch 13 by receiving transmission torque between the members 7, 9 when the clutch 21 is connected, an energizing member 27, and an electromagnet 31. In this case, the energizing member 27 presses the clutch 21, and the electromagnet 31 cancels pressing force of the energizing member 27 through an armature 29, a connecting part 53, and a pressing member 25 to release connection of the clutch 21.</p> |
