PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip positive temperature coefficient thermistor with practical resistance using a simple method, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In a chip organic positive temperature coefficient thermistor, an organic conductive composite, including metallic conductive particles and polymer matrix, is molded into a sheet-like shape, and a pair of electrodes are provided at only the edge free of the sheet-shaped molded body. In this case, the organic conductive composite is preferably molded into a long sheet- like shape, the pair of electrodes are provided at only the edge face thereof, and the molded boy is separated to form a chip-type organic positive temperature coefficient thermistor.
