PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the traveling stability of a picking unit and to effectively utilize space in an automatic disk changer device. SOLUTION: In this transfer device, a pair of front and rear horizontal frames is laid onto vertically moving bodies 10 disposed in both sides across the opening of a shelf device. A picking unit 18 attached to a surrounding horizontal moving body 12 for setting/drawing a disk D on the shelf device is fitted in space between front and rear horizontal moving bodies, and a slider 39 provided in the horizontal moving body 12 is loaded on the supporting frames 11 so as to be freely moved.
