PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately perform reply processing by requesting nonrequested retrieval to an idle retrieving processing part according to order from the highest priority when the non-requested retrieval request is left. SOLUTION: A priority order applying part 5 applies the priority order to divided retrieval requests and requests the retrieval as many as the number of retrieving processing parts 6 to the retrieving processing parts 6 in the order from the highest priority. The plural retrieving processing parts 6 really process the divided retrieval requests to which the priority order is applied. A retrieved result merging part 7 merges the retrieved results provided by the retrieving processing parts 6. A retrieving processing completion discriminating part 8 discriminates whether all the parallel retrieval requests received by a retrieval interface part 3 are processed or not and when all the requests are not processed, according to the applied propriety order, the nonprocessed retrieval requests are requested to the idle retrieving processing parts 6. When the divided retrieval requests, to which the priority order is applied, are more than the number of retrieving processing parts 6, a retrieval request holding part 9 temporarily holds the retrieval requests.
