PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically uninstall an application which becomes unnecessary. SOLUTION: A target application module is automatically installed and if the target application module is not executed or does not function normally, the target application is automatically uninstalled. This method includes a step for deciding whether or not a common resource is present on target media and a step for discriminating whether or not the application module functions normally on the target media when the common resource is present and automatically uninstall the application module when the application module does not function normally.
