<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system which can dynamically control a frequency in CPU without resetting the whole computer system. SOLUTION: The CPU monitoring part 51 of this computer system monitors a CPU temperature and informs a CPU operation frequency change judgment part 66 of it. A bus idle judgement device 41 informs the CPU operation frequency judgment part 66 of the use state of a bus by using a signal 109. A CPU frequency change processing part 61 writes switching information that CPU is in the middle of the switching of a frequency into a CPU frequency switch state holding part. The CPU frequency change judgement part 66 gives a request for locking the bus to the bus idle judgment part 41 and the bus is locked during time from the saving of inner information in CPU 21 to restoration after the saving of a whole inner state in CPU 21 is terminated.</p> |
